Hi all, as I shortly already mentioned at last week's call, I think the decision matrix and its weight is still flawed. I think the items "Prevents denial of service" (1) and "Prevents misconnection" (2) are strongly connected to the item "Usability (Predictable label resolution)" (4). If DoS is not prevented then it logically follows that the label resolution is not always predictable: sometimes I will not reach anything. Similarly, if misconnection is not prevented, then also the label resolution is not always predictable: sometimes I will reach a different target than I expected. Especially in our context of the ß, these items are (almost) a logical equivalence: (1) or (2) <=> (4) Or what other factors for unpredictable label resolution are there, that are not covered by either (1) or (2)? I can't think of any right now. If the above really is the case, we would need to drop item (4) from the matrix as it's already covered by (1) and (2).
