Hi Mirjana,  This pair, J ( j  Unicode 006A) and I with Ogonek ( į  Unicode 012F), was considered when we were looking at underlining.  But unlike all of the other pairs we looked at there, both of these extend below the line.  Thus, the underlining will be interrupted in both cases.  It therefore seems to me that, underlining or no underlining, we should consider them as variants, even though we have dropped the other underlining pairs.   Bill Jouris Inside Products bill.jouris@insidethestack.com 831-659-8360 925-855-9512 (direct)
