Dear All,
As I was writing down the suggested topics, such as ICANN strategy, and the Budget, I've checked the closing dates of the public comments it will be by Feb 11 and Feb 8th, those  dates doesn't match with the schedule below to have the final draft statement ready for final discussion and approval at Kobe meeting.

This doesn't mean that we eliminate such suggestions but to encourage the formation of a group to work on the Strategy or the Budget to publish the statement before the closing time of the public comments.

As for the ME Space community topics, it would be good to take into consideration the schedule below and the release of a timely statement that is not overdue which will loose its impact.

ICANN 64 ME Space

08 - 18 January          Call for topics

        21 January         Announcement of the selected Topic

21 - 31 January          Call for volunteers for the drafting team

        04 February        Announcement of the drafting team composition

05 - 13 February         Drafting of the statement (1st draft).

        13 February        Publishing of the 1st draft for comments

14 - 21 February         Comment period for the 1st draft of the statement

22 - 28 February         Drafting of the final version

        01 March            Final draft published

We therefore call on you to propose your preferred topic to be addressed at ICANN 64 in Kobe.
The chosen topic should be currently of high interest at ICANN. As examples, we can mention:

  1. EPDP
  2. New gTLD Subsequent Procedures
  3. ICANN Operating Plan & Budget
  4. Unified Model for Access and Accreditation
  5. IDN TLDs
  6. Universal Acceptance
  
Of course, these are only examples. We can also address sub-topics from the above list.
