From 28 October to 3 November 2017, ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) will be holding its 60th international public meeting, ICANN60, in Abu Dhabi, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The event is hosted by the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) of UAE. ICANN, is a non-profit organization responsible for the global coordination of the Internet’s unique identifiers and its mission is to ensure a stable, secure and unified global Internet.

Prior to ICANN60 in October, ICANN will be organizing a panel session followed by a networking lunch on September 28^th, in Dubai, for the UAE’s Internet Community. This panel will be an opportunity to learn from local and international experts about ICANN60, as well as an occasion to discuss the current hot topics present today in the Internet ecosystem, potential business opportunities and why the world’s governments will be watching Abu Dhabi closely this October.
