As we've written, that the ME space is gaining momentum and that is good sign. We hope this momentum will continue throughout the drafting process. The more drafter with value added contributions, the more pen holder of the drafting statement the more statements on different topics could be emerged.

I also think that our activities should focus on some regional items and not limited to some ICANN hot topics.

We have to be careful here, that the purpose of ICANN ME strategy is to work on issues in the context of Domain names and technologies or policies that have influence on Domain names.

By growing the number of topics others networking activities will emerge (calls, meeting, mailing list ,...) and will help the development of ME space .

The ME space working methods will be considered in the proposed charter. However there are many ME initiatives like the ME Readout session could cover the activities that you mention here.

You might kick-off the ME ICANN civil society group that never got the chance to emerge.

It would be good to refere to the earlier emails discussions when the ME Space did emerge.

@Chokri, if you can provide an example(s) of the extended activities that focus on producing a written statement that reflect the MEAC community concerns to address ICANN, would be appreciated.

On the other hand, we think that the ME Space should have a charter where the objectives of the space are clearly defined as well as its working methods. We are going to propose a draft text for discussion on the mailing list before presenting to the space session in Kobe the consensus text or the different options emerging from the discussion.
Please can you let us know what do you think of this proposal?
