Dear Colleagues,

Topics that are important to our region and I find that they should be addressed during the Middle East space session is one of the following two:

  1. Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) and Universal Acceptance (UA)

Since the Middle East has a rich linguistic diversity, with Arabic being the predominant language. IDNs allow domain names to be registered in non-Latin scripts, which is crucial for Arabic-speaking users. Universal Acceptance ensures that all domain names and email addresses, regardless of script, work seamlessly across all applications and systems

  1. New gTLDs and Market Opportunities

The introduction of new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) offers opportunities for businesses, cultural institutions, and communities to establish a unique online presence
