We are excited to announce that the chosen topic for the Middle East space during the upcoming ICANN meeting in Hamburg will be DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions). As many of you are aware, DNSSEC is pivotal in enhancing the security and trustworthiness of the domain name system, ensuring data integrity and authentication.
Given the profound significance of this topic and its relevance to the region, we are committed to ensuring a comprehensive and in-depth discussion. Therefore, we are sending out a Call for Drafting Team.
Purpose of the Drafting Team:
Collaborate to outline the key discussion points surrounding DNSSEC, focusing on its implications, challenges, and opportunities specific to the Middle East region.
Aid in the preparation of material and resources for the session, ensuring a structured and impactful conversation.
Provide a regional perspective, considering the diverse experiences and insights of the Middle East community.
Requirements:
Prior knowledge and understanding of DNSSEC and its implications. (All knowledge levels welcome)
Commitment to collaborating with other team members and contributing constructively.
Ability to participate in person/ virtual meetings leading up to ICANN Hamburg 78, Dated 21-26 October 2023.
