Dear colleagues,
We warmly invite you to attend the upcoming ccNSO session at ICANN83 titled:
Breaking Barriers: How Governments and ccTLDs Advance Universal
Acceptance
Tuesday, 10 June 2025, 13:45–15:00 local time (UTC+2)
ICANN83 Policy Forum, Prague, Czech Republic
Held as part of the
ccNSO Members Meeting, this session explores the vital role that
governments and ccTLDs can play in overcoming Universal Acceptance (UA) challenges and promoting broader digital inclusion.
The session will feature first-hand testimonials from .bh (Bahrain) and .fo (Faroe Islands). Together, we will examine how local and national efforts are helping to break
UA barriers. The session will also reflect on key insights from ICANN82’s discussion on drivers for UA readiness.
Whether you are already active in UA work or just beginning to explore this important topic, this session promises valuable perspectives and practical takeaways. The
session is open to all with an interest in ccTLDs and UA.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Best regards,
Abdalmomen Galila, ccNSO UAC Chair | .مصر
Regina Fuchsová, ccNSO UAC Vice Chair | .eu, .ею and .ευ
