As per the discussion on the call (2 March 2021) and on the mailing list, the 3 shortlisted Topics received the following support:
- *SubPro *= *7* (Abdelmonem, Farzaneh, Amr, Manal, NP, Rafik and Zakir) - *DNS Abuse* = *4* (Nadira, Dima, Rolla and Tijani) - *EPDP Ph 2* = *2* (Hadia and Chokri)
Therefore, the selected topic to be addressed in the ME Space virtual session is:
*New gTLD Subsequent Procedure final report.*Of course, we will not comment on the 400 pages of the report, but will focus on parts of it. 2 aspects were mentioned:
- IDN applications - Applicant support
The focus will then be put on the IDN applications and the Applicant Support only.
The new timeline is now the following taking into consideration that we will be fully involved in the ICANN 70 virtual meeting (22_25 March) during which we won’t be able to work on the statement:
