Just FYI, during the conference in Delhi, I brought up the whole outreach thing to the Secretariats/Chairs group and suggested this idea of piggy-backing ICANN outreach with meetings that ALSs would be sending reps to, anyways, as a way of conserving costs on ICANN’s end and being able to do more outreach. Nick seemed to think that this was a good idea and would like to receive a list of events that any of us will be attending.
So, maybe we could use this dialogue started by Michael to generate such a list.

Subject: [NA-Discuss] Outreach?
Within NARALO context,
there was a fair amount of discussion last year regarding potential for
continued outreach, in particular public education and outreach at existing
events. Specific venues were mentioned, among them NTEN. The
NTEN conference is coming up shortly: March 19-21, in New Orleans.
Are any of the ALSs at all engaged in NTEN constituency? Are there other
events or constituency groups we can be reaching out to? (at live
events)
Granted, NTEN is not far off.... but if anyone was already going I am
sure accommodation could be made (with some legwork)
Other events in the near term where NARALO attendance could have
value: David Isenberg's annual gathering... Freedom2Connect
(F2C). Will anyone within NARALO be attending that?
Other ideas?
(This is all premised on the idea that At Large outreach is a good thing)
