Dear All,

Thanks Judith and Glenn for posting information on the FY24 Additional Budget Requests.

Please note that this year, in addition to the approval by the RALO, the GSE Regional Vice President also will need to endorse any RALO ABR proposals. Naela and Greg will be working together in their review of NARALO ABR proposals.

A detailed note on the process and timeline for FY24 ABRs will be sent tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Heidi

HI All,

Thanks, Glenn, for this information. At Large runs its own process of ABRs and so this info and address and dates that ICANN sends out are not correct for At Large.

Here is the link to the process that At Large runs. All ABRs have to be approved by the RALO first and then passed for a second approval by the Finance and Budget Sub Committee and then for ALAC Approval and then Staff will send it to Planning Directly.

We are having a meeting today to discuss and open the ABR process, https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=218464782

It is the fifth item on the agenda if you want to plan your time. Hope to see some of you there.

Best,

Judith

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) launched the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Additional Budget Request (ABR) Process.

The ABR Process reflects potential ICANN community activities that are not already included in the annual ICANN operating plan and budget. The ABR process helps the ICANN Board and ICANN organization (org) better understand and develop resources for present and future ICANN community needs. More information about the FY24 ABR Process can be found on this workspace.

ICANN org will host an informational webinar on Thursday, 08 December 2022, at 16:00 UTC. Please register [icann.zoom.us].

ICANN org is also available for consultations through January 2023. Please contact abr@icann.org with any questions.
