There are two NANOG on the road events scheduled. One on September 21 in DC and one on November 12 in Toronto.

The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG), is the professional association for Internet engineering, architecture and operations. Our core focus is on continuous improvement of the data transmission technologies, practices, and facilities that make the Internet function. Members are typically drawn from the core engineering and product staffs of the major North American carriers, content providers, hosting and cloud companies, multi-tenant data centers, and interconnection service providers. NANOG is governed by the NANOG Board of Directors, elected by the membership, every two years.

You can register for these events on that website. Often the NANOG meetings are co-located with ARIN meetings.

What is NANOG On The Road?

NANOG On The Road events provide current NANOG content covering everything from technical services, the status of IPv6 adoption, current registry policy, to developments and hot topics in Internet Governance.  It is a one-day event providing professional education and networking.

Have questions about NANOG's and operator input and experience?

NANOG On The Road will get you up to speed and solicit discussion topics in case there is something you want to know that isn't on the agenda.  The optional Ask NANOG session allows you to speak one-on-one with members of the NANOG Board, the Program Committee, and staff members onsite who will share their experience and further explain the importance of NANOG  “Helping to Make the Internet better”.
