Dear All,
I would like to formally accept the nomination for the position of NARALO secretariat.
It is a privilege to be considered for this important role, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the community in this capacity.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to Glenn for nominating me, as well as to Louis, Waqar, and Dana for their kind support of my nomination.
Your trust in me means a great deal, and I am eager to contribute to NARALO’s mission in the best way I can.
I also want to wish all the best to the other candidates in the election. I have great respect for their contributions, and I am confident that NARALO will benefit from a diverse and dedicated team, regardless of the outcome.
If selected, I am committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the interests and voices of At-Large members are effectively represented and that we continue to foster a transparent, inclusive, and supportive environment within our region.
Looking forward to the election process. Please feel free to reach out if any further information or clarification is needed.
Best regards,
Bibi Rookayya Gulmahamed

Hello All,
I would also like to support Rookayya’s nomination. I am the President of Youth IGF Canada which Rookayya recently joined our volunteer Executive Committee, which is our key coordinating arm for our nonprofit. (Youth IGF Canada is a bit of a unique NRI/IGF in that we structure ourselves as a 100% volunteer youth-led nonprofit who carry out activities to build the Canadian youth Internet governance community throughout the year so that we can then convene this community annually at the Canada Youth IGF.)
Rookayya was one of Youth IGF Canada’s selected funded travellers when we held Canada’s inaugural Youth Internet Governance Forum in Toronto last September. Since then, Rookayya joined the Youth IGF Canada Executive Committee in February, demonstrating her commitment to building out the next generation of Internet leaders in Canada. She has been a wonderful addition to our team demonstrating attention to detail, agility, and collegiality on our various files.
I look forward to watching this election process with the wonderful candidates we’ve already seen nominated today. It looks like this Secretary position will be in excellent hands no matter the outcome of the election.
Good luck to all!
All the best,
Dana
