“New IP” is a proposal from Huawei, a company based in China. It aims at replacing the current suite of Internet protocol. It has been pushed heavily in places like the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) but has not been adopted.
This presentation will take an in-depth look at what is New IP, how it fits with other proposals in the same
domain, its current status,…
The presentation will highlight the consequences of the architectural changes New IP proposes, its relationship with the set of unique identifiers ICANN helps
to coordinate and will discuss deployability issues.
