To add a perhaps useful point, the idea of sharing events with ICANN staff which the community thinks ICANN should have a presence at, where they might not otherwise do so, is also listed as one of the points of collaboration between the various secretariats and ICANN staff. The more we know about events which all of you think are important the better :)

Matthias and myself are very happy to help keep the list, and keep it circulating with our staff colleagues.

Subject: [NA-Discuss] Outreach?
Within NARALO context, there was a fair amount of discussion last year regarding potential for continued outreach, in particular public education and outreach at existing events.  Specific venues were mentioned, among them NTEN.   The NTEN conference is coming up shortly:  March 19-21, in New Orleans.  Are any of the ALSs at all engaged in NTEN constituency?  Are there other events or constituency groups we can be reaching out to?   (at live events)

Granted, NTEN  is not far off.... but if anyone was already going I am sure accommodation could be made (with some legwork)

Other events in  the near term where NARALO attendance could have value:  David Isenberg's annual gathering... Freedom2Connect (F2C).    Will anyone within NARALO be attending that?

Other ideas?

(This is all premised on the idea that At Large outreach is a good thing)
