These include low income women from parts of Washington, DC who have used the internet to create income generating efforts on sites like Etsy. We believe their voices are as valid as those of technically savvy non minority persons, in keeping with ICANN's supposed mission., It may take a little longer than 2 hours to get them to move, however, which is why I feel this late note simply serves to advantage those who are already well represented in ICANN.On Mon, Mar 19, 2018 at 5:53 PM, Leah Symekher <lsymek@gmail.com> wrote:Hi William:
There is still 2 hours for you to apply. The first step Expression of interest (Eol) read below is due today at 23:59 UTC. The main application is due March 26th after step one you will receive a link for step 2, the application.
The Eol step is not time consuming the 2nd one is. Information was shared in the Newsletter in January. We missed the Feb Newsletter due to misunderstanding on dates to publish the newsletter and content. True this information could have been prioritized in the last 2 meetings. Should even have been mentioned in the onsite meeting which I missed due to NOMCOM meeting..I take responsibility for this.
