Dear NARALO members,

On behalf of the NARALO leadership, kindly see the attached NARALO Rules of Procedures Draft Revision 1, dated August 2022.

A drafting team that revised the current rules (approved in 2017) was composed of Alan Greenberg, Eduardo Diaz, Greg Shatan, Judith Hellerstein, John More and Glenn McKnight. 

The main modifications include:

• Language clean-up and paragraphs clarification
• Changes to address minor inconsistencies that have arisen since the ROPs were adopted in 2017
• The incorporation of ALS criteria and expectations in support of the ALS Mobilization Report (supporting recommendations of the 2^nd At-Large Review), approved by the ALAC in 2021.
• Extending the number of consecutive terms for an ALAC member from 2 to 3 times.

• Comments open until August 31st
• Review and Incorporation of any comments received by September 5^th
• Final approval September 5^th – September 9^th
