Dear Colleagues:
I have not seen the mailing list as suggested in the recent call of the parties interested in working in the different aspects of Planning the NARALO upcoming General Assembly. However, I am volunteering as part of the Program Group which I recall is being spearheaded By Greg Shatan.
I would like to suggest that as part of the Program we consider:
- Day One: The NA-GSE: Or Strategic Plan for 2022-23.
- What are the key areas and how are the RALO's involved?
- Past and Present: NARALO
- How do we envision the future of NARALO?
- How is Staff and GSE going to support our TRIPLE-E strategy?
- It would be important to have a few training sessions on "Best Practices" using Social Media and some kind of review of those that have worked for NARALO.
- Are we creating a permanent Social Media Team?
I am not clear how we are going to manage our GA in conjunction with our participation in the ARIN Meeting. This needs to be addressed in order to have a reasonable schedule that does not clash with key ARIN sessions. The ARIN50 meeting usually includes a review of recent accomplishments and the Community Awards for funded projects. I am wondering if any NARALO member is applying for an ARIN50 Fellowship.
Other thoughts:
- Are we planning on having Simulcasting of our GA sessions?
- If Breakouts are being considered, how big must the Conference room be to meet probably "Social Distancing" and other Covid-19 (or other) health requirements.
Just some ideas to start the conversation.
