As a follow up to my note last week regarding the IANA transition, I wanted to make you aware of a letter sent by ISOC CEO Kathryn Brown to key Congressional leaders that urges them to allow the transition to proceed without delay. You may be aware that some members of Congress have started to raise concerns about the transition and have proposed a delay.

Additionally, the Chair of the Internet Architecture Board, Andrew Sullivan, published a piece in Tech Daily in which he argues that the transition is not about the U.S. handing over “control” of the Internet.
