Hi All
In response to the comments on the recordings.
I was in the room for these presentations. Albeit they are very short they had a number of serious misconceptions that as an audience member i needed to spell out the errors.  The students in some cases were misinformed on the actions and activities of ICANN especially NARALO members to engage the Indigenous or First Nations to become members of the ATLARGE or other community. Perhaps the mentors need to work harder in providing critical feedback on their presentations so they are not presenting false or misleading information.   NARALO has worked hard on promoting Indigenous fellows at ICANN and its now integral in the selection process. This was done by the NARALO membership and we have seen a number of individuals in North and South American benefit. This aligns with the inclusion goals of the multistakeholder model.

Hello Joly and ICANN Staff and Leaders,

First of all, I want to congratulate Joly for this excellent edition produced from the NEXTGEN material recorded at ICANN83 in Seattle. This work showcases  clear audio, captions, slides, and speaker videos — a truly comprehensive and professional package.

I recognize that this material was created through Joly’s personal effort and initiative, and it stands as a strong example of what can become a continued practice for all upcoming NEXTGEN presentations.

I would therefore suggest that ICANN consider adopting this model going forward, so the community can benefit from high-quality access to presentations. This would also create valuable opportunities for engagement, including connecting with students who may become future partners.

Many thanks again to Joly for your dedication and initiative!

I took some effort to archive the the ICANN82 NextGen presentations, which were of a high quality

I recorded the ICANN83 session, but never got around to processing. I have put it back on the pile!
