Let's continue the discussion and ideas here. No need to have a Zoom call for this, at least not yet.

I will incorporate in the plan some of your suggestions and other ideas that I have been thinking related to the way we use social media in our region and how this can help in supporting the goals of the plan.

Thanks to Glenn for taking the initial lead on this.

This has been a great discussion and perhaps we can organize a Zoom call on the suggestions . I will leave it to Eduardo to wade into the next move.

Regarding this section, please note that Telecommunities Canada is a national organization so some of the gaps noted are filled that way. Also, do we not have Communautique as an ALS from Quebec. As for representation from the prairies, we have Adrian Schmidt from Alberta as an individual member.

  • Gaps- Membership Recruitment

    • No reps from Southern, and South Western states in the US (ALS in 7  states only Massachusetts, California. North Carolina, New York, Illinois, Washington,DC and Colorado).
    • No representation from Canadian Prairies (ALS  only in  Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Nova Scotia)
    • No Francophone ALS’s outside of ISOC Quebec
    • No representation in many of the Western and North Western states of the US, only 1 ALS in California
    • No Canadian First Nations group (E Manitoba decertified)
    • Only one Indigenous US group, Native Public Media (NPM) Seeking additional ones.
    • Other Cities considering the acquisition of a TLD might be interested in forming an ALS

Hi All
The FY 22 CROP Strategic Plan is being updated

At the next May NARALO meeting we will table the draft plan.

Please add your comments to the document and any suggestions to the plan.  The overall plan is very similar to last year.  The plan is constricted to the limitations of CROP travel funding and general travel restrictions as reported by Adam Peake, ICANN staff .  Regardless, we are documenting various  Virtual engagement activities etc.

We appreciate your assistance in the document

Thanks
