I would like to see a F2F meeting, preferably in advance of san juan.

I would also like clarity on whether the invite extends to applicant organizations, or only approved ALS orgs.

I recall something on a schedule related to a Chicago North American regional ICANN meeting.  When is that?  is that still scheduled?

Our objective is to create the NARALO and then hopefully achieve some
kind of useful, coordinated input to ALAC and ICANN. We hope to ratify
creation of the NARALO in San Juan in June.

I've outlined in a previous mail the first steps I propose we go through
in order to be ready for San Juan. Here they are again:

- for everybody to agree on the 2 documents (MOU and OP),
- for each ALS to name its 2 representatives to the General Assembly,
- for individual users to name their 2 reps to the GA,
- name the Chair of the General Assembly,
- name our Secreteriat,
- choose our 2 ALAC reps.

I think we should tackle these tasks before we work on policy.

So before we plan a meeting in NY or elsewhere, it would be nice if we
could reach consensus on whether we need a face to face meeting to be
ready for San Juan. Meeting or not, we have some work to do before San
Juan. If there's no meeting, then we should be ready to finish our work
online and with conference calls.

So, can we hold a poll?

The question is: Do you want a meeting prior to San Juan in order to
work on the creation of NARALO?

[] Yes
[] No
[] Don't care
