On February 14, 2022, @ 20:00, ALAC NARALO representative Jonathan Zuck and Jeff Neuman from JJN Solutions, LLCs will present/discuss the ICANN Accountability & Transparency Framework. 

Synopsis: " ICANN believes* that the Accountability & Transparency Framework (ATF) is the foundation to encourage participation, instill trust, make information accessible, and have sound dispute and review mechanisms for the multi-stakeholder model to operate effectively. 

The moderator will put in context the story behind the ATF and lead the discussion to gain the panelist's perspective on its effectiveness over the years. 

 

What is the history behind the ICANN Accountability & Transparency Framework? What was the fundamental motivation for its creation? Are there issues with its implementation? Is it genuinely servicing the ICANN community and the Public At-Large? If not, what should be revised, by whom, and how to improve the framework?
