For those of you attending the San Juan ICANN meeting, be advised of the below:

1) The per-diem amount for the meeting is US$77 per day. For further information on per-diems, see the Travel Policy just emailed or available at: https://st.icann.org/alac/index.cgi?policies_and_procedures.

2) The hotel details for the meeting are expected shortly. I know a number of you have asked and are in need of this information and rest assured we will provide it to you as soon as we receive it... Your arrival and departure details have been provided to the hotel organisers on the ICANN staff.

3) Unless other arrangements have been agreed, ICANN is paying for your room and tax only. Other expenses such as meals will be covered by the per-diem amount.

4) ICANN is paying for your hotels based upon the arrival and departure information provided by the travel agents (or for those who have been approved for separate travel arrangements, we have provided those details on to the ICANN Hotel Coordinator). If you change your arrival or departure date, any costs for doing so will be borne by yourselves, as per the travel policy.

5) As a reminder, ICANN will be paying for hotel stays based upon an arrival not earlier than the 23rd, and a departure not later than the 30th, unless arranged otherwise with us in advance.

CLAIMING YOUR PER-DIEM

With regret, we will not be able to provide per-diems in advance or at the San Juan meeting though doing so is under consideration for subsequent meetings.  I have attached a form which should make it easy for you to claim your per-diems back; the instructions are on a tab of the worksheet.

When filling in the worksheet, for the two dates, use:

1) Your departure date from home, or the 23rd of June, whichever is later.

2) Your date of return home, or the 30th, whichever is earlier.

Don't forget to attach:

1) Your flight itinerary

2) Any evidence you have of the amount of your bank transfer fees for receiving wire transfers - if applicable.
