I’m pleased to share my strong support for Rookayya’s nomination.
I first connected with Rookayya through the ARIN Fellowship Program, where I also had the opportunity to serve on the Fellowship Selection Committee during her selection. It was clear even then that she stood out as a dedicated and passionate voice in the Internet governance space.
I later met her in person during the ICANN 82 Meeting in Seattle last month. She brings a warm, collaborative spirit and a strong sense of responsibility to every conversation. Her work with Youth IGF Canada and her ongoing involvement in the community are inspiring examples of youth leadership in action.
I believe Rookayya would be an excellent choice for the Secretariat role and would serve the community with commitment and care.
