Wow!  I was looking at that on Google Earth but just eyeballing it rather than getting actual distances and it didn’t look like that at all.  I would definitely accept your figures, though.  It certainly looks like you got all of the “far end” ALSs  - or so close as to not matter.

You may want to have a quick look at a map now, however.  When you start considering Canadian ALSs (especially myself) that no longer holds true.

Calgary- Honolulu 3117 miles (5016 km)

Calgary - San Juan 3446 miles (5547 km)

Calgary- Iqaluit 1860 miles (2994 km)

 

Vancouver- Honolulu is 2707 miles (4356 km)

Vancouver- San Juan is 3789 (6098 km)

Vancouver- Iqaluit is  2226 miles (3582 km)

 

Chicago- Iqaluit 1699 miles (2735 km)

Chicago- San Juan 2056 miles (3309 km)

Chicago- Honolulu 4249 miles (6839 km)

 

New York seems like one of the worst locations....
