Dear Community Leaders:
Thank you for your feedback about the future meetings survey that we discussed on a Pre-ICANN69 SOAC Chairs’ call last month. We have incorporated all feedback received into an updated survey that we are sending to you now, along with a proposed timeline (below). We hope that the survey questions as well as the upcoming ICANN69 Board-community session on Monday 19 October will be helpful to your community group’s discussion of this important topic.
To ensure that the broader community can provide its feedback, we have created individual survey links for each SO and AC. Please share only the link that is specific to your SO or AC with your members. As I mentioned in my previous note to you about this topic, we will collect all responses that your members provide individually and will share those with you. We hope that providing you with this data will help facilitate further group discussion, so as to arrive at a single group response in accordance with the timeline proposed below.
PLEASE NOTE: For the At Large and GNSO community, we ask that the RALO, Stakeholder Group and Constituency leaders to send the survey links marked ALAC and GNSO to each of their groups. The survey specifically allows for a respondent to indicate the RALO, SG or Constituency that they belong to.
Finally, here is the suggested timeline, which we hope will give each community group time for discussion as well as allow for a consolidated report to be provided to the Board in January 2021:
