Board Selection
We are in the midst of short listing the Board candidates and from the 116 applications in total the majority of the applications were board applications. The process currently involves all the applications to be reviewed and we had three options which are Proceed, Discuss and Not proceed. At this stage of the assessment we have roughly 20 short listed and this selected group will be willowed down to 14 candidates for the three available board opportunities. Note that all three existing board members are reapplying for the board.
Other positions include
- Two for GNSO council,
- One for CNSO-Council
- Three for ALAC (Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America). no North American member this year.

Given the Covid 19 restrictions this year as last year means alot of Zoom calls combined with the extended protocols of NOMCOM which requires substantially more time and effort. Despite this extra work it's a great opportunity to NARALO members to consider the opportunity to serve the community and meet other constituencies and build a greater understanding of the membership
