Dear Robert,

Thank you for responding so quickly.

To respond to your points:

1. I work from the UK with Nick Ashton-Hart, he is on leave at the moment and as such I have been asked to help with the admin/co-ordination relating to a face to face meeting and any telcons necessary/requested by your region in regard to this. I am not a member of the ICANN staff but I am working for ICANN At-Large and have been doing so since January. I believe that I was introduced to the lists early in January with my google address but I may be wrong about that and of course not everyone who is on the list now would have been on it then.

2. I was asked to gather interest/availability for a call with requests coming straight to me as opposed to the list, the idea being to not clog up your inboxes with responses but to have one person receive them and compile them. If people want to reply to the list I'm sure that's fine it just seemed like the easiest and fastest method to sort the telcon out without involving all of you in what is simply an administrative function.

If people do want to reply to the list can I just ask that they do also reply to me just to be sure that I don't miss any responses.

Regards
Susie

Two quick comments

1. Pardon my ignorance,  I've not heard of you before - and i'm surprised you are sending messages from a google account and signing messages as ALAC/ICANN staff. Are you a new ICANN hire? With all the formality as to structures and who can vote, i'm just a bit surprised. Do fill us in as per your role and how you fit into the organizational structure.I am sure others are curious as well.

2. I take issue with your requesting that responses to your email be back to you privately. One of the core values that I've mentioned that is key - is openness and transparency . As such, i don't see why a call for NARALO discussion among  NA ALAC interested parties needs to be private.  I'll thus respond publicly, and cc you..

Date/Time proposed for teleconference:

- April 19th - 7 PDT, 10 EDT - Robert Guerra (yes)
- April 23rd - 7 PDT, 10 EDT - Robert Guerra (yes)
- April 23rd, 22 PDT (April 24th, 1 EDT)  Robert Guerra (NO) - Time is inconvenient

__ yes  __ no - Thurs -- 7:00 am PDT
__ yes  __ no - Mon -- 7:00 am PDT

FAO NA ALSes and candidate ALSes,

Please note that there will NOT be a telcon today. We do realise some of you may have been under the impression that there was a telcon later today but there was very little indication of availability for a call today and as such we have decided not to proceed.

We would be happy to arrange a call however if you do all want to discuss NARALO organising. If you would like to take part in a call please respond directly to me, by return, as opposed to the list and let me know which of the times below you are able to make. If there is enough interest/availability I will get back to you with the call information.
