I am referring to the NARALO Strategic Plan.

Just curious.
Why does NARALO need its own strategic plan?
As the North American region of ALAC, its objectives are fairly well spelled out in the bylaws.
Given that so much of what ALAC does is reactive to the initiatives of other ICANN constituencies, how much need exists for strategy beyond "audit ICANN activities and ensure that what it does won't negatively impact end users"?
And even if such a plan was needed, why would each region do its own, with the potential for some to be in conflict with each other and thus cause distraction from ALAC's bylaw mandate?

Far be it from me to tell people how to spend their volunteer time. But this just seems wasteful to me, and will be ultimately forgotten as ALAC struggles to react to the universe around it.
