Someone who thinks movies are still on physical reels of celluloid could think such a tariff could work.  But in a world where movies are routinely accessed across the Internet, it's blatant nonsense.  (And those which are imported on physical media would be on a thumb drive, which customs would never notice.)  Just sayin'

Hollywood recently got the Trump tariff treatment. On Sunday, the p resident announced a 100 percent tariff on movies made outside America. Filmmakers said the move would hurt U.S. filmmaking. Shares for Net flix and other entertainment companies fell. The next day, the White House said no tariff would take effect.
