All,

We are requesting Expressions of Interest to help develop the FY26-30 ICANN North American Regional Engagement Plan. GSE is assembling the North American Community Advisory Team (NA-CAT) (the community group that will serve as the main liaison to GSE in this process. GSE has asked NARALO to select 1-2 NARALO participants to join the NA-CAT.

This development effort will be time-limited, including 1-2 virtual events, as well as work done via email lists or other remote tools (e.g. a survey) answering specific questions. With our help, GSE hopes to surface implementable ideas with measurable impact to enhance engagement. We know everyone has a lot on their plates and the goal is to make this as light a lift for the community as possible. The time commitment for community members is not expected to be high (e.g., 4-8 hours total, including 1-2 60-minute virtual sessions, and time to complete a survey and/or respond to requests for input).  The Plan is expected to be completed by mid-June of this year.

NA-CAT members are expected to solicit ideas/feedback from NARALO as a whole, synthesize it, and then work with GSE to have its input represented appropriately in the Plan. In addition to the NA-CAT, there will be ample opportunity for everyone (including stakeholders not on the Advisory Team) to provide written feedback during this process, including through an official Public Comment period

Please send NARALO leadership your expressions of interest for the NA-CAT by 17:00 UTC on Thursday, February 20, 2025.  Thank you!

Best,

Greg
