Nomination of Dana Cramer for NARALO NomCom
Good afternoon all, I am pleased to nominate Dana Cramer for the NARALO NomCom position. Dana and I served as ISOC youth ambassadors together and she has been very involved in both the ICANN community and the broader internet governance ecosystem. Dana is a PhD Candidate in Toronto researching fluctuations in multistakeholder Internet governance and geopolitics. She also leads Youth IGF Canada, a national non-profit that works closely with youth all over Canada including rural, remote, and Indigenous stakeholders. Dana was also a NexGen, ICANN81 Fellow, and will be an ICANN83 fellow in June. She will also be part of the Government of Canada's official delegation to WSIS+20 in July, among many other accomplishments! The skills around PhD research and the NomCom position are closely aligned, making Dana a great fit for this position. The need to be objective, confidential, and evaluate information in a holistic and comprehensive manner is well evidenced in Dana's past work and training. Best, Kathleen
