Hi We are looking for an alternative CROP trip and I suggested we consider NTC 19 which is put on by NTEN This is the largest conference for technologists working at non profits in the World https://www.nten.org/ntc/program/schedule/ Here is the information Please provide your view on one person attending this event Glenn McKnight NARALO Secretariat mcknight.glenn@gmail.com http://toronto.ieee.ca/ IEEE Toronto SIGHT Chair glenn.mcknight@ieee.org skype gmcknight twitter gmcknight 289-830 6259 .
A former colleague attended a NTEN conference a number of years back(Washington DC I think) and highly recommends their conferences. Looking at the agenda it seems relevant and perhaps worth being a CROP trip. D On 2018-11-02 08:07, Glenn McKnight wrote:

This territory is covered by the "Treaties of Peace and Friendship" which Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik (Malisser) People first signed with the British Crown in 1725. Hi Glenn: As Dana mentions the scheduled outline seems to be interesting for young audience dealing in issues related to bringing insights to young technologist seeking innovative ideas to keep in mind when designing or implementing online resources. Underdeveloped regions and accessibility topics seem to be 'hot topics'. Thus, I agree it seems to be a great opportunity to spread the word of NARALO's involvement in looking for new blood, be it as 'individual members' or join an Als' My Humble opinion.
