Re: [NA-Discuss] Formation Schedule - are we on track ?
Ah, too true on the rude. Sorry about that its just rather hard when there are those trying to be constructive and then just keep getting pulled down and pulled down. Point well taken, though. Unfortunately, those that you are describing are in the minority. The rest of us (on both sides of the border) are trying to keep things moving and are trying to encourage more and more to participate in order to broaden the number of ALSs - even to the point of trying to be more inclusive (eg the org-of-orgs thing). It is really a shame that more outreach wasn't done years ago when there was more time. D Darlene A. Thompson Community Access Program Administrator Nunavut Department of Education/N-CAP c/o P.O. I am just against certain ones trying to slow the process down for no apparent reason. If there were those that wanted a pause so as to discuss the bi-cameral thing, they had plenty of time to discuss it if they WERE actually interested in it (and not in just slowing things down).
Hi. I could swear I have mail here somewhere from a person with a name very similar to yours bewailing the rude tone in this forum. Believe it or not, we're not opposed for the sake of being opposed, we're opposed because we think that a RALO that is dominated by a handful of tiny organizations and that excludes the individuals that the ALAC is supposed to represent is worse than no RALO at all. That is a one of the understood responsibilities of approved ALS's. regards Robert
