On the transparency of ICANN/registrar negotiations
Hello all, In advance of Monday's conference, I'd like to call your attention to something that I'd like to discuss. This statement will be up for discussion at the Tuesday ALAC meeting and I'd like to get NA feedback. https://community.icann.org/display/alacpolicydev/ALAC+Statement++to+the+ICA... Thanks! - Evan
Hi, I support the ALAC sending such a letter of advice to the Board. Of course having written a blog decrying this situation as a major threat to the ICANN social compact that allows the contracted parties to have a voice in the regulatory instruments, i.e. their contracts, by subjecting their contracts to the community derived policy development processes, my support probably comes as no great surprise. a. http://www.circleid.com/posts/registrar_stakeholder_group_gnso_works_against...
