Re: [NA-Discuss] Nominations 2016
Hi All The selection isn't a fait accompli as you notice on the nomination slate I have proposed Louis Houle who is from ISOC Quebec and a former NOMCOM representative. for the ALAC position and it's the community to nominate others and decide who they prefer. Hello Leah
The nomination process is an open process. My nominations were driven by the fact that each of these individuals is not only dedicated but doing a stellar job on our behalf. Further even as a newbie still learning the ropes, I am familiar with the work of our North American representatives and their inclusiveness of underrepresented constituents within our region like Native Public Media. An important motivation for my nominations.
I welcome other NARALO regions to place forward nominations for our collective consideration.
To that regard, you have time to make your own nominations as the elections are still some time away.
All my best,

Hi All: While I shared an observation, I also mentioned in my email that this team has done tremendous work, Glenn is an awesome leader...so why slow down progress. I do not think my support is needed but just in case the nominated team has my support. Regards, Leah Symekher SFBay Area ISOC Chapter, President On 4/12/16 2:35 AM, Glenn McKnight wrote:

Hi Glenn (and you all), I would like to thank you for proposing me for the ALAC position and I'll be glad to send an SOI ASAP. And yes, our candidates did a tremendous work this year. This being said, I still see room for improvement in many of the issues that we have to address and in the way that they could be addressed. More to come in the SOI.
