Dear All, On behalf of Jonathan Zuck, ALAC Chair, this is a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for persons to apply to be a participant on the 2026 ICANN Community Excellence Award Selection Panel. This is a community selected award to select the recipient of the 2026 ICANN Community Excellence Award. The ALAC has two slots on the ICANN Community Excellence Award. Judith Hellerstein has agreed to serve a second term. The second panelist slot is termed out. Some guidance related to panelists is below: With appropriate staff support, we envision the workload of the selection panelists will be limited. There will be some time necessarily devoted to reviewing nominations, with expected weekly one-hour calls from early January through the end of February to discuss the process, review the nominations, and select the award recipient. Interested At-Large Members are requested to send their Expression of Interest (EOI) to At-Large Staff no later than Tuesday, 19 November 2025 by 23:59 UTC. The ALAC Appointee Selection Subcommittee (AASC) will review the EOIs and notify the ALAC of their selections. ALAC Nominations must be submitted to the relevant staff no later than Thursday, 5 December 2025.
