Is this material of interest to the group. If yes. Perhaps we should start thinking of ways and means to having the content placed in our own Facebook and YouTube channel. Hi Glenn, I watched some of the videos you made of previous events as prep for attending Durban. Particularly, the interviews you've done. Personally, I find videos helpful sometimes, but they are also more of a time investment to watch. So, before I watch a video, I usually want context. Hi Dharma You make a really good point about content It needs context If we had a NARALO blog the short video can have a write-up. For example. Dev did a a presentation which I am reuploading on the Technology Taskforce. His presentation if you recall was on LUCENT MEETING. the context is the validity of the technology as to improving our communication. Note what NCUC did on their blog. www.ncuc.org. The video they have is mainly from myself As per the AFRALO Showcase it has little direct value for us but a service to the other ATLARGE which they need to distribute to their community. From memory, I think that the Social Media Strategy is joint work between the Technology Task Force and At-Large Staff, who peform the updates.
As Staff returns from their break, I *expect *them to pick up the ball.
