Here are a few questions that ICANN ought to ponder:
- How might ICANN facilitate digital protection (e.g. privacy and cybersecurity) of nonprofits? This is because the NGO sector, particularly humanitarian nonprofits, are the 2nd most targeted.
- As for carbon, I think being NetZero or Carbon Neutral is not aspirational – today, it is a must have. I think that our question must go beyond mitigation (a must for ICANN) to adaptation and resilience – something ICAN facilitates through DNS. The question I propose is thus:
- How can ICANN support and accelerate the adaptation and resilience of communities impacted by a changing climate?
