Thank you for the nomination and for your trust and confidence.

Unfortunately, I decided to take a break from leadership positions, as the next 8-10 months will be very difficult for me timewise as I will juggle with my PhD final steps and defense, alongside several work projects. I cannot commit to be as involved as I used to be, it is already proving difficult. I think this is the fair thing to do, also to allow other members, who have more time, to have this opportunity. I may run again next year or in the future, but not now. I will thus not run for VC in this election in NPOC.

On a different note, I would like to show my support for Caleb's nomination as Membership Committee Chair. I have had the honor to work alongside him in NPOC and he is always adding value to his job. He has proven his dedication and commitment for NPOC since he joined, and has shown both leadership skills and talent in managing NPOC's Membership drive and strategy despite the challenges experienced during this COVID 19 period with lots of uncertainty.

Recently, I worked alongside him and other EC members in organizing the NPOC webinar series which adjudge some level of success credit.

I am confident he will do a great job on membership strategy and engagement, where he will continue to apply what he has learned in the last one year as the membership chair. While I have seen him work and even worked alongside him several times and has shown a lot of patience, respect and excellent diplomatic skills, even when we had differences in vision. I have big hopes for Caleb's future within NPOC!

Caleb, hope you will accept this nomination!
