@Juan : thank you for this. The job of the Communication Committee according to the NPOC charter is done in the good manner this time and I'm happy for that.

@Joan : please, dear Joan who are the active members ? Aren't those who are actively participating  in the various  GNSO working groups ? Please, how many are we in realty ? I'm curious to know now the KPI now that I'm 5 years old of being an active member of the NPOC with 3 terms into the Executive Committee.

@All : dear colleagues and friends, I want to cease this occasion to sensitize all us for more engagement for the NPOC. Please, Let's move things forward together.

NOTICE OF ELECTION

Dear all, 

Time for elections is around the corner so fulfilling our charter requirements and in Pursuant to Section 8.2.1 of the NPOC Charter, NPOC is posting this Notice of Election. NPOC will be conducting elections for the following positions on or after April 24, 2017:

• NPOC Chair . Currently held by: Klaus Stoll

• NPOC Vice Chair : Raoul Plommer (interim)

• Secretariat : Olivie Kouami

• Membership Committee Chair : Joan Kerr

• Policy Committee Chair : Poncelet  Ileleji

• Communications Committee Chair: Juan Manuel Rojas 

Please refer to Section 3.3 of the charter for a description of each Executive Committee Officer position. A copy of the charter is accessible here.

Voting will occur via email ballot from 30 May till 29 June since provision 8.2.1 of our Charter requires us to post the notice for elections and nominations for a minimum of 60 calendar days prior to the start of any election and as per provision 9.5.3, the vote shall be open for 30 calendar days.

ICANN will manage the electronic voting system.

2/ Voting members: 

As per the Charter, the membership committee is in charge of updating the list of active members since only active members are eligible for voting. Therefore, Joan Kerr, our Membership Chair, we will soon initiate the process to register who are our active members. If you have any questions about this posting or the elections, please contact the NPOC Executive Committee at  excom@npoc.org.
