Preview of the October Board Workshop

ICANN is moving at full speed, with several important projects underway or nearing launch. But first, the upcoming Board workshop will be dedicated to planning for the ICANN72 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The primary goal is to ensure that we are fully prepared to engage effectively with the Community and Organization (Org) during ICANN72 and further the work to which we are all committed.

Tech Day brings together ICANN’s technical community, and is open to anyone interested in technical or security-related topics. Tech Day continues to grow and has been part of ICANN Public Meetings since 2006. It provides a forum to discuss technical topics related to registry and DNS work and security.

Closed Generics: What's Next?

On Monday 18 October, there was an At-Large policy session titled “Closed Generics: What's Next?.” The session examined next steps for Closed Generics in subsequent rounds, and whether a focused policy development process would address outstanding concerns.
