Olivie:

1) I understand Aída applied for NPOC, maybe she is in the waiting list for the next process in the NCSG. She is a MAG members and has done tons of work on woman rights in a bosnia NGO for the eastern european region, she is also working with Diplo and Eurodig (or was). Probably the mistake comes from there, in her application she must have put that she was a applying to NPOC (she was already a fellow and asked me to help her with the NPOC application and engagement), she was even in the list for Marrakesh but had to cancel on last minute. She is interested and has come forward, let’s try to look after her application so she can engage and we can add another collaborator. 

2) Aida, as all Fellows, was selected for her personal qualities and not her affiliation inside ICANN, so she has no duty to report the ExCom nor has the duty to represent NPOC in ICANN nor the fellowship. This is the case for me when I go to the fellowship. Needless to say that she will be, she already is, a close friend and the more we make space for her the more she will be encourage to participate in our projects.

As an Alumni of the Fellows Aída already helped me in the past to promote and think on how to improve NPOC, so she is familiarized withs us. I think we will really earn a good professional to work with if she is approved as a member.
