Johan,

Thanks for interjecting here to your Question, "I would love to hear what angles there are that don't see
the Russian attempt at invading Ukraine as anything but just that."

Not my view, several comments from Putin due to Paranoia believing NATO at Russian doorsteps is threatening is an angle to look at, I don't buy that argument just as I don't buy the argument of just allowing Russia to walk into Crimea and take it too.  However despite the invalidity in my personal opinion of Putin narrative which many analyst more in the know that me on the geopolitics of the region as stated on https://africa.businessinsider.com/military-and-defense/why-did-russia-invade-ukraine-experts-break-down-putins-motivations-and-excuses-for/df7gs7l Its till an angle some lean too and especially using the Nazi narrative  by Putin to describe ukraine government which is bogus but some folks ignorantly buy into it.  That's some of the angles I was alluding to and to be clear I don't subsribe to any , however they are those that do.

Have a great weekend

I would love to hear what angles there are that don't see

just that.

(Just to be clear - my opinions and views are purely personal)
