Dear NPOC Community,

At the conclusion of the recent ICANN meeting in Dublin, Yao Amevi A. Sossou has assumed the role of Policy Coordinator for NPOC.

Yao brings extensive expertise in internet governance, digital transformation, and multi-stakeholder engagement to this critical position. As Coordinator of the Youth IGF Benin and an affiliated member of the Internet Society Benin Chapter, he has demonstrated strong leadership in advancing digital inclusion and policy development across Africa and beyond. You can read more about him here https://npoc.org/team/yao-amevi-a-sossou/

On behalf of our Chair @Juan Manuel Rojas, we warmly welcome Yao to this role and look forward to his collaboration with NPOC Members as we continue to strengthen NPOC's voice in the ICANN community and advance our policy priorities. Kindly engage with him on all our NPOC policy conversations.

At the same time, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Emmanuel Agbenonwossi for his excellent service as our immediate past Policy Coordinator. Emmanuel's dedication, insight, and hard work have been invaluable to our organization, and we are grateful for the strong foundation he has built for our policy engagement.

Please join us in welcoming Yao and thanking Emmanuel for his contributions.

Best regards,

--
