I will try to answer both at the same time because they are similar and aligned in thought.
As all my colleagues have mentioned, we have worked together on many aspects. In policy, we highlighted the relevance of the Transfer Policy Review within our Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group. This was something I personally emphasized in some of our policy meetings. Topics such as the Application Support Program and Subsequent Procedures (SubPro) were discussed by us at our membership meeting in San Juan. We worked together to bring people to our table to discuss these issues and to address our concerns. We arranged bilateral meetings with ALAC leadership, SSAC members, and others. As a result, NPOC led the NCSG public comment on these matters, primarily through the efforts of Bolutife and Emmanuel.
Additionally, we have updated our membership list by contacting each member to confirm their information is current. This was a "to do" task from previous years that we finally completed. The vast majority of our members were very excited to be contacted, and some are already re-engaging in our discussions. We hope this can bring back people who were previously engaged in ICANN to share their experiences and knowledge with us, thus strengthening our constituency.
In terms of communication, we have worked on several administrative areas to improve efficiency. We have implemented some automation tools to facilitate this process.
For our next membership meeting, we will have guests from Africa, and we will also be discussing the NetMundial results. This effort helps us understand the main concerns from the African perspective regarding gTLDs, and we would like to invite everyone to join us.
I forgot to mention that I am involved as the NCSG representative for the Transfer Policy Review, as an alternate on the Subsequent Procedures IRT (ASP SubTrack), and as the NPOC representative on the Council Committee for Overseeing and Implementing Continuous Improvement (CCOICI)I have only one question: Caleb, have you finally been able to get the list of our members and alternates?Several members of the EC have asked you to produce a comprehensive list of them for the last three years, but you have not been able to do that, which is a very core of your duties. I actually start to doubt that you can not even produce it even if you wanted to. This would be a very serious defect for a person that has been the membership chair for the past five years already?I want to know whether Caleb has been able to keep track of our members, which is his most important duty, and produce the list of members as per the current cand past chairs' request.-Raoul_______________________________________________On Tue, 28 May 2024 at 15:21, Andrea Glandon via Npoc-discuss <npoc-discuss@icann.org> wrote:_______________________________________________Hello all,
