The pilot currently consists of 16 participants who are alumni of the ICANN Fellowship and NextGen@ICANN programs. The first meeting of the Policy Transition Program pilot occurred on 17 October. Participants received a syllabus, which provides a timeline of the pilot, and primer materials to learn about the development of the Applicant Support Program. You will find both the syllabus and primer materials attached for your reference. By the session in February 2023, participants will have information about the Applicant Support Program—from its inception to the GNSO Council vote on the New gTLD Subsequent Procedures Final Report. On behalf of the team supporting the pilot, we would like to request your input regarding possible speakers from civil society who can add to the participants’ understanding of the development and impact of the Applicant Support Program. In particular, for the February and March 2023 sessions, we will be grateful for your suggestions of noncommercial stakeholders who would be best suited to provide additional information and insights on this topic. Thank you, and we look forward to receiving your thoughts and suggestions. Syllabus: https://community.icann.org/display/soacabout/Policy+Transition+Program?prev... Hi Raoul, I believe the request is to recommend a civil society speaker who will support a certain part of the program - specifically speak about “the development and impact of the Applicant Support Program”. I encourage colleagues who have worked on this policy topic in the past, to kindly volunteer as speaker to support this program. Best, - Bolutife.
