Excom for 2017-2018
Now that the nomination period is over and all the candidates went unchallenged, I think us candidates can prepare ourselves for an exciting year! I'd like to take the opportunity to congratulate all of us and suggest to start thinking how to make NPOC work better, especially in the role that we applied for. I will have my first appearance as an official NPOC representative in Tallinn next week and am quite thrilled about it! I will be manning the ICANN booth at times, which we share for our spanking new brochures, that aren't even out of the print yet. :) I'm glad to work with you fine people and if no one has any objections, I would like to add these new people to the excom mailing-list already and which we need to open for public scrutiny anyway. -Raoul
Hi Roaul, Thanks for the kind words. I just want to caution that the nomination process is over, and technically we are in the voting process, however as most are unchallenged, it is possible to gear up and start to plan and execute our responsibilities. I think we should work as we've been as a team, until the actual voting process is completed. For my part, I am elated to be working with all of you and will congratulate att he end of June. Dear all, Very appreciative of Raoul's enthusiasm and eagerness to work nevertheless, we need to hear the wise words from Joan and be respectful of the voting process. Regards, Marie-laure On Wed, May 31, 2017 at 2:43 AM, Joan Kerr <joankerr@fbsc.org> wrote:

Yes, it's congratulations in advance from us at DigitalSENSE Africa, until end of June as stipulated in our laws. Yet it may also call for rethinking on duration for voting, which I think should be reduced to a time of 7 days. Let's keep walking.
