Sent on behalf of the
Review of Reviews Cross Community Group Co-Chairs
Dear SO/AC Leaders,
On behalf of the
Review of Reviews Cross-Community Group (Reviews CCG), we
are pleased to share with you an
Initial Draft Report that
builds upon the input received in response to our previously
circulated outline document, as well as the continued
collaborative efforts to develop a refreshed reviews system.
This draft is the
result of active engagement with both members and observers
who have participated in the discussions. Their
contributions have been instrumental in shaping the current
document. This report highlights some areas where
additional details will continue to be worked out in the
Cross-Community Group’s continued deliberations, and also
includes linked references to recent comments pointing to
some areas in which the Reviews CCG is actively engaged and
which are particularly relevant for discussion at ICANN86.
In our blog
Draft Principles to Enable the Evolution of ICANN Reviews
that was released yesterday, we set out the draft guiding
principles from our phase one discussions.
The Reviews CCG
will hold a public session
on Monday, 8
June to continue sharing the work in progress and gathering
feedback. We welcome your attendance and encourage you to
share this report with your respective groups. We aim to
incorporate the feedback received in a Draft Report to be
published for public comment following the ICANN86 meeting.
Thank you in
advance for your engagement and continued support. We look
forward to your valuable input to ensure the proposed system
is fit
for purpose, viable
for all stakeholders, and addresses known
challenges as
articulated in our charter.
